The following list of school supplies has been designed to help our students be organized and prepared for a great school year. All students are asked to have these supplies with them beginning on the first day and continuing each day throughout the school year.

One set of subject dividers with

One zippered soft pencil case

Blue and black pens for all written work

Red or green pens for correcting work

Highlighters (2-3)

Number 2 pencils

Colored pencils (Crayons may be used in Grade 6)

One ruler, both metric and English

Flash Drive (256 MB)

Silent reading book

One spiral notebook with 2 pocket folder for Unified Arts

Scientific calculator, Texas Instruments, 30X or 31X (7th-8th Grade ONLY)
Please note that there may be additional supplies needed for individual classes.
If so, these teachers will let students know at the beginning of the school year.
** Liquid White Out and permanent markers are NOT ALLOWED at Swift.
In addition, all students will receive a Student Agenda (called Assignment Pad in elementary school).
This agenda is used to:

record assignments,
·
manage after-school activities and long-term projects,
·
serve as a communication tool between home and school
·
and is used as a hall pass.
The agenda is to be carried at all times by the student and brought home every day as well. Teachers encourage daily
use of the agendas and parents should check them on a regular basis.
FYI:
PE uniforms are required at Swift and information regarding the ordering of these uniforms will be sent home through PE classes at the beginning of the school year.
