HOMEWORK TIPS:

1. Homework should be a set routine (same time, place, and setting).

2. Set a time limit for completing homework. (1-1 ½ hours per night).

3. Remove distractions (siblings, noise, etc.)

4. Assist your child with dividing up homework (having the child do the most difficult task first, may lessen frustration at end.)

5. Your responsibility as a guardian is to review and help set up for Homework. (It is NOT to re-teach the lesson- let the teacher know if your child had difficulty with the assignment.)
